So, you may think that prawns aren't something that all the family are going to like, but add a really simple marinade and it's a whole different story. Easy, tasty, healthy and a bit different - give them a go!
Slide the prawns onto the skewers.
Take a bowl and mix the oil, garlic and herbs together.
Brush each prawn skewer with the marinade, add to a dish, cover with foil and pop in the fridge for a couple of hours.
When it's time to cook, remove them from the fridge and brush over some more of the marinade, making sure you scoop up the garlic and give each prawn a good slathering.
Either cook on the BBQ, use a griddle pan or a frying pan - whatever's easiest for you.
Turn them regularly to get an even coating. They're ready when they turn pink.
Serve with peas and rice. I like to mix a tsp of sweet chilli oil in with the rice and peas to add sweetness.
